List of wind turbines in Berlin and Brandenburg

The list of wind turbines in Berlin and Brandenburg provides an overview of the installed wind turbines in the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg , with a focus on the installed wind farms . Locations with three or more systems are considered wind parks. Systems with a steel lattice tower are marked in italics . Since new wind turbines are constantly being built and dismantled with or without repowering , this list does not claim to be complete; it shows the status from the end of 2019. The database is the interactive map from Metaver, which you can also use to find out about planned and approved wind turbines in the state of Brandenburg.

In 2016, renewable energy sources (sun, wind, hydropower, biogas, biomass) covered around 67% of the gross electricity demand of the two federal states (Berlin: around 4%; Brandenburg around 102%).
