Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, England is the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world. It has a diverse line-up ranging from music to comedy, to circus and theatre. The festival has been a regular fixture (with some breaks) since 1970.

There are dozens of different stages and areas, ranging from the vast Pyramid Stage to small bandstands. Many diverse forms of music and performance can be found on site.

2008

The headliners include Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, The Verve, Panic at the Disco, Massive Attack and Groove Armada. For the full lineup see Glastonbury Festival 2008.
