The federal highway 316 (abbreviation: B 316 ) is a federal highway in the extreme southwest of Germany, in Baden-Württemberg . It connects Lörrach with Rheinfelden via the pass crossing at Waidhof . The route thus runs parallel to the A 98 and the A 861 which follows in a southerly direction and was completed in 2006. The B 316 is part of the European route 54 .
