This list of cities with city walls provides an overview of places and cities that have either a complete historical city wall or a significant part of it that has been preserved .

- Schwäbisch Hall (The outer city wall has been preserved in sections at the Schiedgraben / Zwinger with Langenfelder (vulgo Crailsheimer) gate, at Langengraben, west of Gelbinger Gasse with Josenturm and overbuilt mill bulwark, to the north and west of the hamlet of Vorstadt with hamlet gate, at Hirschgraben it has been partially restored. Some other outer towers have been preserved, others built over, the powder tower is ruinous. A built over core city wall remains at Am Säumarkt. Of the weaker inner fortification line against the river Kocher that crosses the city, on the right is the Mühlgrabenmauer, the Sulfertor, the Haalmauer, the Diebsturm; on the left the Rotesteg Tower, the the wall supporting the high bank on Mauerstraße was preserved.)
