MGP Restorations is a British company in the automotive and former automobile manufacturer.

Company history

The company from Magor near Caldicot in the county of Gwent ( Wales ) is a restoration company for old cars. In 1992, the production of automobiles and kits began under the direction of Mike Phillips and Jack Orwin . The brand name was Silurian . Production ended in 1996. A total of about two copies were made.

vehicles

Only one model was on offer. It is known as possibly the largest kit car . A ladder frame formed the basis. The body, including the bonnet and fenders , was made of aluminum over plywood . It was a four-door , five-seat convertible inspired by Bentley and Lagonda models from the 1920s and 1930s, respectively. A six-cylinder engine from the Jaguar XJ 6 powered the vehicle.
