The B 426 runs along the course of the B 45 between Höchst and Groß-Umstadt , and in Eberstadt on the B 3 .

The B 426 crosses the following local authorities :

New buildings

In recent years, numerous bypass roads have been built to replace town through roads .

  • Pfungstadt bypass 2004.
  • Bypass Ober-Ramstadt 2001.
  • Nieder-Ramstadt bypass ( Lohbergtunnel ), opened on June 29, 2007. It is hoped that this bypass will relieve Darmstadt. For truck traffic, however, an east-west traffic axis through the Darmstadt-Dieburg district is an alternative to the longer and toll routes A 5 and A 3.
