Wyvern was a British car brand.

Brand history

Gerry Johnson and Brian Cook founded in 1983, the company JC Composites in Kingstone in the county of Herefordshire . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was u. a. Wyvern . Production ended in 1985. Hawk Associates from Hereford in Herefordshire continued production until 1986 while maintaining the brand name. A total of about 105 copies were made.

Only one model was on offer. A chassis made of steel formed the basis. A fiberglass body was mounted on top. The open vehicle in the style of the 1930s offered space for 2 + 2 people. Engines from the Vauxhall Viva with 1256 cm³, 1599 cm³, 1759 cm³, 1975 cm³ or 2279 cm³ displacement as well as from Ford were available. The new price for a kit was £ 1,660 in May 1985.
