  • The federal road 318 (abbreviation: B 318 ) is a German federal road in Bavaria and connects the Munich-Salzburg motorway with the Tegernsee .

The federal road leads from the junction at Holzkirchen past Holzkirchen to the south. At Gmund am Tegernsee it meets the B 307 for the first time. While this runs along the east bank of the lake, the B 318 runs over Bad Wiessee on the west bank. The B 318 ends in Rottach-Egern , where it connects to the B 307 again.

The street number 318 was assigned in the second phase of the Reichsstraße numbering for Reichsstraße 318. After Austria was annexed in 1938, this name was also used for the route from Mittersill via Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, now known as Mittersiller Straße B 168 (this is where Reichsstraße 21 crossed from Lofer to Dölsach , now Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße ) and further (currently known as Pinzgauer Straße B 311) via St. Johann im Pongau (1939–1945 Markt Pongau), Bischofshofen and via Radstadt , Schladming , Trautenfels , where Reichsstraße 304 converged, to Liezen , where it was used at what was then Reichsstraße 332 (currently Pyhrnpass Straße B 138) ended. The section over the Achenpass ( Achenseestrasse ), the Zillertal (now part of the Zillertalstrasse B 169) and the Gerlospass (now Gerlos Strasse B 165) to Mittersill was not designated as a Reichsstrasse.
