The federal highway 264 (abbreviation: B 264 ) runs in the same direction as the A 4 - which is crossed once - from the Belgian border at the Aachen district of Bildchen via Eschweiler and Düren to Cologne-Lindenthal on Universitätsstraße and Aachener Weiher .

The old, continuous tour was through Aachen-Haaren and Würselen-Broichweiden . Since 2004 the B 264 between Aachen-Europaplatz and the Würselen-Broichweiden exit ( A 44 ) has been interrupted. The connection is made today by the A 544 and A 44 motorways . On the Belgian side, federal road 264 continues as national road 3 via Kelmis and Liège to Brussels .

The Eschweiler-Weisweiler bypass with a new bridge over the Inde has existed since December 18, 2006 .
