1987
The 1987 DFB Supercup was the first official edition of this competition to be held under the care of the DFB and was won by the German champions of the 1986/87 season, Bayern Munich. On July 28, 1987, he beat the DFB Cup winner Hamburger SV 2-1 in the Frankfurt Waldstadion .
The negative highlight of the game was a punch from Hamburg goalkeeper Stein against Bayern Wegmann's striker, which resulted in a dismissal.

The DFB Supercup 1991 was the fifth official edition of this competition held under the care of the DFB and was won by the German champions of the 1990/91 season, 1. FC Kaiserslautern. He beat DFB Cup winner SV Werder Bremen 3-1 on August 6, 1991 at the Lower Saxony Stadium in Hanover .
Previously, this was the only time in the history of the competition because of the dissolution of the DFV of the GDR on November 20, 1990 and the joining of the NOFV to the DFB during the current 1990/91 season while retaining or renaming the previous competitions FDGB -Pokal in NOFV-Pokal and GDR-Oberliga in NOFV-Oberliga a semi-final was played to determine an "all-German" Supercup winner.
Here the master (east) Hansa Rostock met the master (west) 1. FC Kaiserslautern and the NOFV-Pokal finalist, Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt , as Hansa won the NOFV double, against the DFB-Pokal winner Werder Bremen.

The Women's World Cup 2010 was after 14 years of interruption, the eleventh official and first under the care of the DFL discharged edition of this competition and was between the German champions the 2009/10 season Bayern Munich and runners-up FC Schalke 04 on August 7, 2010 in Augsburg impuls arena. There was a new edition of the previous pairing. With a crowd of 80,675 spectators, a new record was set in the Supercup. With the fourth Supercup title after 1989, 1995 and 1996, Borussia drew level with FC Bayern Munich.
