List of terminus stations

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of terminal stations gives an overview of existing and former terminal stations worldwide.

This list only includes terminal stations that are so designated from a structural point of view. In such stations, the relevant tracks end bluntly and are structurally closed by a cross platform or a (reception) building upside down.

Terminals or Spitzkehrbahnhöfe , in which all trains have to "turn heads" in operation , but do not have a corresponding structural closure of the track system, are not included in this list.

Explanation of the tables

  • Stations in bold = still in operation
  • Stations written normally = converted to a through station
  • Railway stations in italics = closed
