List of state electoral districts in North Rhine-Westphalia 1990–1995

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of state electoral districts in North Rhine-Westphalia 1990–1995 contains all of the constituencies that were used in the North Rhine-Westphalian state elections in 1990 and 1995.

With the state election in 1990, the division of the state electoral districts changed slightly. It is based on the reallocation for the state elections in 1980. Changes were necessary where the population was too high above the national average. The distribution to the administrative districts was not changed.

Changes in 1995

The division was changed again for the 1995 state election. Bergheim and Bonn were affected.

After Glessen was already assigned to the constituency Erftkreis II , Erftkreis I now also lost Fliesteden and Büsdorf , so that the constituency border within Bergheim was moved further west.

In Bonn, the redistribution for the state election in 1990 was reversed (but for the state election in 2000 there was a similar redefinition). Instead, the federal city formed two closed constituencies and constituencies 29 (Rhein-Sieg-Kreis II), 31 (Bonn I) and 32 (Bonn II) got their old names back. The area almost corresponded to the state elections in 1985, with the difference that Bad Godesberg was now also divided. The new definition was therefore as follows:

No. Constituency area
31 Bonn I. City district Bonn , from the city district Bad Godesberg the districts Hochkreuz and Friesdorf
32 Bonn II Districts Beuel , Hardtberg and Bad Godesberg (without Hochkreuz and Friesendorf )

Constituency boundaries also changed in Krefeld and Dortmund to take account of the changed city district boundaries.
