List of state electoral districts in North Rhine-Westphalia 2000–2005

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of the Landtag constituencies in North Rhine-Westphalia 2000 contains the constituencies for the election to the Landtag North Rhine-Westphalia in 2000.

The constituencies have been changed several times since the country was founded in 1946. For the state elections in 2000 , the constituency of North Rhine-Westphalia was defined in the constituency law of April 24, 1995 . However, there were some minor changes afterwards.

The reallocation of the constituencies had the consequence that the areas of many constituencies changed considerably. The distribution to the administrative districts changed compared to the state elections in 1995 , so that the administrative district of Düsseldorf lost two constituencies, which the administrative district of Cologne gained.
