Donald Daniel Clancy (born July 24, 1921 in Cincinnati , Ohio , † June 12, 2007 there ) was an American politician.

Clancy graduated from Xavier University in his hometown and attended the Law School of the University of Cincinnati , where he graduated in 1948 his studies. In the same year he was accepted into the bar. From 1952 to 1960 he was a member of the Cincinnati City Council and was mayor of the city from 1958 to 1960 .

Clancy was elected as a Republican to Congress , where he represented the state of Ohio in the US House of Representatives from January 3, 1961 to January 3, 1977 . In the 1976 elections, he was unable to defend his mandate.
