Stephanie Tubbs Jones

Stephanie Tubbs Jones (born September 10, 1949 in Cleveland , Ohio , † August 20, 2008 in East Cleveland , Ohio) was an American politician .

She graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and received her Bachelor of Arts in 1971 . In 1974 she got her Juris Doctor at this university . From 1991 to 1998 she was a prosecutor in Cuyahoga County . Jones was in 1998 as a Democrat in Congress voted and represented there on 3 January 1999 to her death in the state of Ohio in the US House of Representatives .
