Robert Walker Tayler (* 26. November 1852 in Youngstown , Ohio ; † 25. November 1910 in Cleveland , Ohio) was an American politician of the Republican Party and federal judge. March 4, 1895 to March 3, 1903 he was a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for the 18th  congressional district of the state of Ohio.

Tayler was born in Youngstown, the son of the then Mayor of Youngstown, Robert Walker Tayler, Sr. He attended schools there. He received a Bachelor of Arts in 1872. He then served in the Ohio school service. In 1877, after completing his law degree , he was admitted to the bar. Between 1880 and 1885 he worked as a prosecutor in Ohio. He worked for a variety of law firms in Cleveland and New York City .

Between 1895 and 1903 Tayler was a member of the US House of Representatives as a member of the 18th District of Ohio. In 1903 he retired from political business to work as a lawyer in Youngstown. On January 6, 1905, Tayler was nominated by US President Theodore Roosevelt as a judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. The Federal Senate confirmed the nomination on January 10, 1905. He began his work on the same day. He served until his death on November 25, 1910.
