Ronald Milton Mottl (born February 6, 1934 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party . From 1975 to 1983 he was a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for 23  congressional districts of the State of Ohio.

biography

Ronald Milton Mottl was born in Cleveland. He studied law at the University of Notre Dame . From 1960 to 1966 he was a member of the Parma City Council . He was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1967 to 1968. He then sat on the State Senate until 1974 .

In the 1974 congressional elections he was elected to the US House of Representatives as a representative of the 23rd District of Ohio. He sat there until he left in 1983. He then went back to his home country to be active again as a local politician. From 1987 to 1997 he was again in the Ohio House of Representatives.

He lives in North Royalton . There he was mayoral candidate of his party in 1999, but was unsuccessful.
