Jacob Atlee Beidler (* 2. November 1852 in Tredyffrin Township , Chester County , Pennsylvania ; † 13. September 1912 in Willoughby , Ohio ) was an American politician of the Republican Party . March 4, 1901 to March 3, 1907 he was a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for the 20th  congressional district of the state of Ohio.

Jacob A. Beidler was born in Tredyffrin Township, Pennsylvania. He attended the schools in Chester County. In 1873 he moved to Willoughby, Ohio. There he worked as a coal trader. In 1881 he was a member of the city council of his hometown. In the same year he moved to Belle Vernon Farm , near Willoughby, where he lived from then on. In 1896 he was a member of the Electoral College .

In 1900 he was elected to the US House of Representatives as a representative of the 20th District of Ohio. He served there for three legislative terms for his home constituency. In 1906 he was no longer nominated by his party, his successor in the House was L. Paul Howland . Beidler withdrew to his farm again. Before his death, he was a member of the Ohio State Agriculture Committee. Beidler died on his farm in 1912. He was buried in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland .
