Shaeffer, Bunce & Company , previously Shaeffer, Bunce & Marvin , was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Mr. Shaeffer, Bunce and Marvin operated Shaeffer, Bunce & Marvin in Lockport , New York . Marvin was the engineer. They sold accessories for cars and steam engines . In 1901 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was SBM . Marvin left the company in 1901.

Shaeffer and Bunce renamed the company Shaeffer, Bunce & Company . In 1902 they offered the vehicles without engines. They were now called Shaeffer Bunce . After 1902 the track of the company is lost.
