Standard Motor Vehicle Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles from New Jersey .

Company history

The company was founded in 1900 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . A little later it moved to Camden , New Jersey. In 1900 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Standard . In January 1901, vehicles were presented for two weeks during two automobile shows in Philadelphia. Production ended in 1901.
