The list of members of the first regular Reichstag of the North German Confederation contains all members of the first regular Reichstag of the North German Confederation .
Election and legislative period
The election for the first ordinary Reichstag of the North German Confederation took place on August 31, 1867. Between September 1867 and December 1870 the members of parliament met for six sessions:
- First session from September 10, 1867 to October 26, 1867
- Second session from March 23, 1868 to June 20, 1868
- Third session from March 4, 1869 to June 22, 1869
- Fourth session from February 14, 1870 to May 26, 1870
- 5th session from July 19, 1870 to July 21, 1870
- Sixth session from November 24, 1870 to December 10, 1870

Parties
The conservative forces belonged to the Conservative Party and the Free Conservative Association . The Liberals were divided between the National Liberal Party , the Old Liberal Center , the Free Association and the German Progressive Party . The workers' parties were represented by the Saxon People's Party , the General German Workers' Association and the Lassallesche General German Workers' Association. Regional and minority interests were represented by the federal constitutional association and the Polish parliamentary group .
