Place names in bold denote the locations of the former central switching centers (KVSt).

Preliminary remark

The following local networks were new in February 1997 primaries allocated to the 0900 freizuräumen range:

  • 09002 → 09090 Rain (Lech)
  • 09003 → 09080 Harburg (Swabia)
  • 09004 → 09070 Tapfheim
  • 09005 → 09084 Bissingen (Swabia)
  • 09006 → 09078 Mertingen
  • 09007 → 09097 Marxheim
  • 09008 → 09089 Bissingen-Unterringingen
  • 09009 → 09099 Kaisheim

It was the second change in the area code for the local networks concerned, as they were moved from the 089xx area to 090yy in the 1970s. This was necessary at the time in order to be able to set up a shorter area code (089) for Munich .
