Administrative division in Germany 1957

This article presents the administrative structure in Germany in 1957 , i.e. the regional structure of the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic with Berlin in mind .

In relation to the Federal Republic of Germany, the states, administrative districts, independent cities and districts are listed. The information from the Statistical Yearbook 1959 of the Federal Republic of Germany as of June 30, 1957 is adopted.

With reference to the German Democratic Republic, the districts, urban and rural districts are listed. The information from the Statistical Yearbook 1958 of the German Democratic Republic as of December 31, 1957 is adopted.
