The list of Sauerland personalities includes those personalities who were born in the Sauerland or were or are active there. The definition of the region in the article Sauerland is used for regional delimitation . Thereafter, the districts of Olpe , Hochsauerlandkreis , Märkischer Kreis and some southern parts of the Soest district as well as the area around Willingen (Upland) belong to the Sauerland . Only people for whom an article is already available in Wikipedia are included.
