List of cities with historical centers in Germany
This list of cities with a historical city center in Germany provides a nationwide overview of places and cities that have a historical city center (also known as the old town in general ) with monument preservation significance.
The additional names for the individual cities are intended to identify the respective historical city type of a city with a historical city center. The list does not make any statement about the completeness of preserved old towns, but is intended to show representative types of towns.
