Hart-Parr Company was an American manufacturer of tractors and motor vehicles .

Company history

Charles Hart and Charles Parr founded the company in Charles City , Iowa in 1901 as a tractor manufacturer. In 1908 a few passenger cars were built . The brand name was Hart-Parr .

Parr left the company in 1917. In 1929 the merger with other companies followed to form the Oliver Farm Equipment Company . The brand name was used for some time.

vehicles

The tractors had gasoline engines . They made between 22 and 111 hp .

The only passenger car model was a small runabout with a two-cylinder engine . The vehicles were intended for the company's own company's sales travelers.
