Offices in Westphalia

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

From 1843 to 1974 there were offices in Westphalia . Westphalia initially belonged to Prussia as a province . In 1946 it formed the state of North Rhine-Westphalia together with the north of the former Prussian Rhine province . In 1947 the former land of Lippe was added.

The Prussian rural community order for the province of Westphalia from 1841 replaced the cantons introduced during the French era (1806 to 1813) with offices with effect from 1843 .
